"Looking Out for Number What?"

Pastor Rich Theilen

When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, he pointed to two: the commandment to love God, and the commandment to love others as we love ourselves. Many people believe that means we need to "love ourselves" before we can "love others." But is that exactly what Jesus had in mind?  Maybe—or maybe not. Join us Sunday as we take one final look at the "Love Life of a Christian" by exploring where we can get "loving ourselves" right—and where we might be tempted to get it wrong.

Miss a week? Audio of the sermons are available on our website! Click here to listen.

Advocacy for Victims of Abuse

If you have a heart for the women, children, and men in our church and in our community who have been hurt and broken from the sin of domestic violence, consider being a part of AVA, a ministry to provide education to our congregation and resources to support victims. You may even be unaware you have friends, neighbors, and relatives living broken lives from the sin of domestic violence.

Join us Tuesday night, June 12th at 6:00pm to learn what you can do to support this ministry. Pizza will be provided so please RSVP to amdeike@yahoo.com if you plan to attend. For more information about AVA, you can also visit the Covenant denomination's website: www.covchurch.org/abuse/
