Message: "Trust and OBEY?!?" (Joshua 5)
Speaker: Pastor George Kenworthy
Common sense. Good sense. Even horse sense! We like it when things are rational...when they make sense. So what do we do when God commands us to follow directions that are confusing and seem illogical? This week we'll see how Joshua reacts to instructions from God that, according to our human logic, most definitely did NOT make sense!
Miss a week? Audio of the sermons are available on our website! Click here to listen.
The Reveal Spiritual Life Survey Begins on Saturday, April 21st
From April 21st through May 7th, everyone at Crossview is invited to take part in round two of the Reveal Spiritual Life Survey (round one was completed in 2010). The Reveal Spiritual Life Survey is an anonymous online survey that asks for input on your spiritual life and our church’s role in it. The goal is to better understand what the church can do to support your spiritual growth.
The findings from this survey will:
help us make decisions about ministry strategies.
provide guidance and direction in the search for our next Senior Pastor.
help us serve you as you grow in your faith.
Whether you’re a long-time Christ-follower or just starting to explore the Christian faith, we want to do everything we can to help you on your spiritual journey and we need your input!
You will be able to access the survey (beginning April 21st) at: www.crossviewcovenant.org/reveal/
Sign up for the Discover CLASS
(Please note: The Serve CLASS scheduled for April 22nd has been postponed until fall.)
The Discover CLASS (one of our (Christian Life And Service Seminars) focuses on our commitment to Christ and Christ’s body here at Crossview and is a pre-requisite for membership. The Discover CLASS will be on Sunday, April 29th from 12pm-4:30pm. Lunch and childcare are provided. Call the church office or click here to register for the Discover CLASS.
